The Department of Economics, in partnership with CSU’s Office of Study Abroad and the College of Business, has announced a new study abroad option for CSU students, at the Foreign Trade University (FTU) in Hanoi, Vietnam. The opportunity begins with the Spring 2012 semester.
FTU is one of the most highly regarded universities in Vietnam, and will offer CSU students a broad choice of economics and business courses (and some others), taught in English. Most courses are taught by English-speaking FTU lecturers, but some are available from CSU instructors who teach at FTU under a broader curriculum project now entering its fourth year. As part of that project, FTU students started studying at CSU this semester, Fall 2011.
The new program is distinctive in offering CSU students the experience of study abroad in a developing country with a dynamic economy and an ambitious higher education system.
