Biography

Débora Nunes is PhD student currently researching in the fields of macroeconomics, feminist economics, environmental, and Latin American studies. Originally from Brazil, Débora got her B.A. and M.A. from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, and was also an invited undergraduate student at the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE, Mexico). Débora's professional experiences include internships at the Central Bank of Brazil and at the Southern Brazil Regional Development Bank; in the private sector, she owned a company that offered services in the cultural sector and worked as a producer and professional dancer for several years. She still dances as a hobby, and likes to spend time with her friends, her plants and her Latin American literature books. She also enjoys cooking and watching sports.
