Biography
Hello! I am a PhD student and Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Economics at Colorado State University. My primary research interests are in labor economics, with a particular emphasis on how caste and sexuality discrimination affect labor market inequality. My previous work involves a qualitative and quantitative approach to studying livelihood, gender, and social inclusion in the Indian landscape.
Prior to joining CSU, I earned an M.Phil. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University and an M.A. in Economics from the Central University of South Bihar. I also have professional experience as a Research Associate for IMAGO Global Grassroots, where I contributed to state-level project planning, data collection and analysis, and stakeholder relations.
In my leisure time, I enjoy reading, walking, listening to podcasts and cooking good food.
