Professor Anita Alves Pena will be hosting the annual Rocky Mountain Research Data Center Informational Session on February 21, 2019. Presentations will be given by Dr. Jani Little, Executive Director and Dr. Phil Pendergast, Survey Statistician/Administrator. The information session will be held in the Lory Student Center, room 386 from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
The RMRDC allows statistical analysis of health, population, and economic data collected internally and confidentially by federal statistical agencies that are NOT otherwise available for public use. It is a physical laboratory located in Boulder, set up according to the guidelines of the Census Bureau to ensure data protection. This session will provide overview of restricted data resources for RDC-based research and steps involved in gaining approval for projects.
