The Department of Economics Seminar Series for the Spring 2020 term continues Friday 4/3/20 at 3:00 pm in Behavioral Sciences room 103. The seminars are free and open to everyone.
April 3rd’s speaker is Dr. Marco Ranaldi. Ranaldi is a postdoctoral scholar at the Stone Center on Socio-Economic Inequality, The Graduate Center, City University of New York (CUNY). He earned his PhD from the Paris School of Economics & Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne. He is interested in the philosophical, political and mathematical aspects of economic inequality. Rinaldi has recently developed the concept of income composition inequality as well as a summary statistic for its measurement. Learn more about this idea here.
