I am extremely excited to be starting the PHD program in Economics at CSU. I am originally from San Diego, CA and attended The University of California Santa Barbara for my undergraduate studies. There I studied economics and mathematics and I studied abroad at The University of Warwick in the UK. My passions outside of school include volleyball, running, and traveling. After graduating from college, I entered Enterprise’s management training program. After 2 years with the company I had risen to the branch manager level, and re-evaluated if I wanted to have a career in management. After careful thought I decided that I wanted to pursue a career in academia. As an avid beer lover and outdoors enthusiast, I was immediately drawn to CSU and the town of Fort Collins. I’m looking forward to working in the department of economics, as well as meeting new people at CSU!
