Fatih Kirsanli was born in Altindag in 1990. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Ankara, Turkey. After receiving his Bachelor’s from Erzurum Ataturk University in 2012, he worked as a research assistant in the same university for 4 months. Then he qualified to receive one of the most prestigious scholarships provided by the National Education Ministry of Turkey in 2013. He completed his MS degree in Economics at Texas A&M University and then he started to his PhD in Economics at Colorado State University. His interests are macroeconomics, political economy, institutional economy, history of economic thought, development economics, history and politics. Besides being a columnist at International Heritage Magazine, he has his own blog in Turkish. He also has memberships of several associations and institutions.
