Graduate Teaching Assistant
I came to Colorado three years ago to attend University of Denver and earn an M.A degree in Economics. During my studies, just like Albert Einstein "the more I learned, the more I realized how much I did not know" and that's what led me to decide to continue my education.
Prior to joining the Ph.D. program at CSU I worked at Arrow Electronics, helping IBM Software sales team and working on performance indicators. Also, I worked at Colorado Department of Transportation, evaluating process efficiency by conducting data analysis. My huge gratitude goes to my undergraduate institutions: Izmir University of Economics (Turkey) and University of Strasbourg (France), where the professors always helped me pave the way forward.
I am very excited to join the CSU! I am sure that the department of Economics here provides the challenging and motivating environment necessary for the students to grow. My fields of interest are Public and Development Economics. My Master's research was on equity in financing education.
