The problem of student debt has received credit as being one of America’s most pressing economic issues. The average college senior is graduating with an increasing amount of student debt every year. The need for a depoliticized discussion regarding the causes and effects of increasing student debt is paramount. The Association of Graduate Economics (AGE) here at CSU is sponsoring a panel discussion titled, Paying for College: The Problem of Student Debt.

The panel will feature four members of the CSU community:

– Provost Dr. Rick Miranda,

– Director of Financial Aid Tom Biedscheid,

– Chancellor Emeritus and Senior Fellow Dr. Mike Martin,

– Department Chair of Economics Dr. Alex Bernasek.

Each panelist will give a short presentation and this will be followed by question and answer session.
The event will take place on Wednesday, April 5 th at 5:15 PM in Clark A103. Please join!
